Translating interjections and animal sounds
Even the most trivial things, such as interjections and animal sounds, have to be correctly translated into foreign languages. Dogs bark differently in every language. In German for example wau, wuff or jaul, in Danish jåul, and in Russian gaf-gaf. And in English ruff, arf, au au, yip (for small dogs) and bow-wow.
Interjections also differ, in German they know ach, au, pfui, o, hä?, haha, in English Ahem, Shh, Ps, Tut-tut, Ugh, Whew, Gah, Yeah, and in French Ah!, Eh!, Oh!, Ha!, Hé!, Hi!, hi!, Hue!, Ohé! and Holà!
